Hello.. i recently got used to the viewer and i love to play with the shadows and the various settings but there's something that bugs me from the very beginning whenever i attempt snapshots. Here's the thing:

- I pick a windlight setting and i custom it myself for a better lighting
- I take the snapshot..the picture comes out with a totally different lighting settings

I attempted various graphic settings like less shadows/more shadows, depth of field/no depth but nothing seems to work
I linked 2 pictures to show it better ..I don't know if i set something wrong or it's a known/unknown bug ..any suggestions?

Also if it helps i'm using Nirans Viewer - Reboot 3.5.1 (2701)

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit SP1
Intel Celeron CPU E3400 2,60 GHz
4,0 GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6570

Update: the same thing happens when i open the edit and building window

Sounds like either of 2 things:

You are accidentally pressing the shortcuts for Regiolight/Day/Midnight

or

You are closing the Windlight floaters in a way that somehow reverts the Windlight preset you choose.

Apart from that it seems that you use the Edit Windlight floater to choose your Windlight instead of the Environment Editor which is the real Windlight "selector".

thank you for helping me!
i press ctrl- shift- s or just the snapshot button to shoot
i always keep open the edit sky preset or at least i minimize it while shooting..i choose environment settings > Advanced sky settings

i think i found the root of the issue ..it does that when i use the freeze frame while shooting..does it happen to you too?
i really need that feature especially with models using animated motions :(

Idk if it happens to me, if i want to shoot with frozen time i do that manually, i freeze the sky and water movement and set down the animation speed to 0. Also Nirans Viewer is not supported anymore i hope you do know that.
