everytime I try to alt cam now, it would zoom into what im trying to alt cam and doesn't allow me to move the camera around so I would need to hit esc to lose focus of what i was alt camming, also when it zooms in when trying to alt cam it zooms in on something so much the screen turns pink. this problem has just started for me like 2 days ago.

Sounds like you've set the draw distance way too low, set it to something like 32m minimum.

O_o draw distance should never cause that... cause on firestorm I could set my draw distance to 0 and it wouldn't glitch out like that and lock into place where you were trying to alt cam.

Firestorm~, Firestorm works differently they have a force unlocked camera, in BD you don't. Infact in every default-like Viewer it isn't. Draw Distance limits your maximum camera movement distance unless you disable camera constrains but then the "avatar camera" aka third person is still limited and will freak out completely when you set the draw distance too low and try to move it.

Firestorm is not the norm.
